Each summer, we hold our popular farm-to-table fundraising gala, which features a locally sourced gourmet meal, a variety of local beverages, an interesting program, and the opportunity to support the Land Trust through a paddle raise.

Conservation Breakfast

Annually, the Land Trust hosts Conservation Breakfast, a free virtual event celebrating the power of community conservation and our shared vision for a stronger future. Each spring Conservation Breakfast attendees gather online to learn from a speaker or an expert panel about a topic of interest.

Holiday Open House

Youth Corps Program

Our annual Spring Break Youth Corps Program offers one-week, field-based, paid internships for high school students aged 16 and up. Youth Corps participants work as a team to learn about and undertake a variety of habitat enhancement and conservation activities with Jefferson Land Trust staff members, volunteers, and natural resource professionals.

Offered each spring, our Tidelands to Timberline natural history course is an eight-week, field-based course that offers committed participants the chance to become intimately familiar with the natural history and ecosystems of the northeast Olympic Peninsula.

Fairbank Award for Youth Environmental Action

Established in 2023, the Fairbank Award for Youth Environmental Action honors longtime Land Trust volunteers and supporters Sarah and Owen Fairbank. The award is given annually to a young person in Jefferson County who shows leadership, commitment, and innovation
