Our Conservation Partners

Jefferson Land Trust collaborates with many local and state governments, agencies, and non-governmental organizations (NGOs) to acquire, restore and care for special lands in Jefferson County.

For example, in 2001, when local salmon runs were in dangerous decline, we convened the “Chumsortium,” a partnership that still meets each month to discuss protection, restoration, funding and education related to salmon habitat and that received an Environmental Achievement Award from the Hood Canal Coordinating Council.
