Jefferson Land Trust welcomes the public to visit our beautiful public-access nature preserves throughout East Jefferson County. Each preserve is unique, but all were protected with the critical support of our community, conservation partners, and willing landowners.

Our community is at the heart of our work and we couldn’t do what we do without our many dedicated volunteers. Every year, volunteers help us care for Land Trust preserves; serve on boards and committees; share stunning photography and artwork; and pitch in on office projects, grant writing, maintaining mechanical equipment, and much much more.
