Fun on the Farms: Farm Tour 2025

Thanks to everyone who came out for the 23rd Annual Jefferson County Farm Tour on the weekend of September 13-14!

During this popular annual event, hundreds of visitors from far and wide turned out to visit 13 featured agricultural properties across Jefferson County. Guests explored farmland, snacked on fresh farm products, and got to meet local farmers (and some cute farm animals, too)!
This year, Land Trust staff members enjoyed connecting with many of you out at Kodama Farm & Food Forest in Chimacum (permanently protected by the Land Trust in 2021) and Compass Rose Farms near Discovery Bay (permanently protected by the Land Trust in 2007), where we had booths set up both days.
It was inspiring to see so many people show up to celebrate, learn from, and support the local farmers who work so hard to nourish our community and care for our local lands.

In partnership with the community, Jefferson Land Trust is proud to have helped permanently protect 21 Jefferson County farms — nearly 1,500 acres of agricultural land. Productive farms strengthen our economy and our food security while preserving our rural ways of life and the scenic open spaces we love. By working with willing landowners to place protective conservation easements on local farmland, the Land Trust helps ensure it will remain available as working farmland for all time and that any sensitive habitat it contains will be protected too.
Farm Tour is produced in partnership by The Production Alliance and Washington State University Extension, and wouldn’t be possible without the help of dozens of local volunteers.
All of us at the Land Trust look forward to Farm Tour each year. We had a great time out on the land yet again. Thank you to all the volunteers, farmers, and visitors who helped make Farm Tour 2025 a success!
