The Snow Creek Estuary Preserve is open to the public year round and is along the route of the Olympic Discovery Trail. Learn more about visiting this special place.

Illahee Preserve is home to mature Western redcedar, Bigleaf maple, Douglas fir, and Western hemlock trees that flank a meandering trail down to Chimacum Creek, where visitors are welcome to view annual runs of coho, chum, and steelhead salmon.

Chai-yahk-wh Preserve features a winding trail through mature Western redcedar, Douglas fir, sword ferns, and seasonal wildflowers.

Valley View Forest is a mix of big leaf maple trees, Western red cedar, and Douglas fir.

You can visit Duckabush Oxbow and Wetlands Preserve to view salmon, elk, and other wildlife from May through November.

The public is welcome to walk the pet memorial loop trail, and to walk or bicycle the powerline trail. The wildlife preserve and working forest areas of this property are otherwise only open to guided access with Jefferson Land Trust staff members.
